‘The woods are lively, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.’

  1. Different interpretations have been given to this line. As in all poetry, interpretation usually depends on your disposition at the time you read it. To me now, this means although life in this world provides such lovely prospects, we, as Christians, need to hold off, if not relinquish these desires as we have "promises to keep" and we have a lot to accomplish in this regard, "before we sleep".

  2. nang mag comment ka sis, hinanap ko ano ang history at na post ko ang quote nq iyun. saan ba ginamit ni bro. eli yun? then naalala ko, si manny pacquiao pala ang gumamit nun just recently sa priv speech nya. very surprising and commendable.
mas magaling pa yata yung writer ni Manny kaysa writer ni Noynoy ah.
also thanks for your soulful interpretation!
