Lessons in social media

on twitter. mai mislang, a member of presidential delegation to Hanoi (for a state visit and the 17th Asean summit

mai mislang: “the wine sucks.”
ricky carandang:  ...which one, white or red wine...
mislang: ”Red, the white is fine.”

mislang also tweeted, “Sorry pero walang pogi dito.” and “Crossing the speedy motorcycle laden streets of Hanoi is one of the easiest ways to die.”

those tweets are her way of saying thanks and being "extremely blessed to be in a beautiful country blessed with warm hospitable people"..... as she was quoted to have said in her apology.

Anyway, Mislang is secure in her Malacañang position. As Carandang said, he is “trusted” by Aquino.

Si Rico Puno at Jesus Versoza nga abswelto........ ano ba naman yung tweet bashing ni Mislang kumpara doon.

sabi nga ni Carandang , “It’s a minor incident.”

3 komento:

  1. I wonder how would she feel if a foreigner mentions about the unpleasant things in Philippines.
Sa Commonwealth din, easiest way to die.

  2. being a part of the Presidential delegation, napaka major major carelessness, improper na i-broadcast pa niya ang mga iyon just to respect their host.
kung di siya mag resign, sana mag bait na siya.

  3. The key lesson here is that new technology still requires good old fashioned manners.

Mislang got what she deserved with the avalanche of public castigation she got on Facebook and Twitter from irate Filipinos. And P-Noy is wrong to say we are blowing it up. It is better for the disgust to come out of Manila instead of from Hanoi. Diplomacy dictates that the Vietnamese will keep their displeasure to themselves.

a necessary reminder for the likes of Ms Mislang among the juveniles surrounding P-Noy to behave because for one thing, they aren’t as great as they think. They just happen to work at the Palace.
